Thoreau was right...'the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.'
I see it daily. People looking to find 'relief' in booze, drugs, sex and things. Sometimes they think I am crazy cause I teach them to just sit and watch...and do nothing.
Some get it...some don't.
Good one Ta Wan.
Most would laugh at Sisyphus endlessly pushing the stone to the mountainpeak,
not realizing they all undergo the very similar fate themselves.
What a fun tragedy! :D
I see and (oops) do this mostly everyday. Yes paying bills is mostly a necessity, therefore making working one as well, but I do stop and pull myself out of this ridiculous grind and try to just "sit and do nothing". It's amazing the things you learn. :)
