Precisely. I guess the quote to sum it up would be:
"Before i studied Zen, the mountains were mountains and the rivers were rivers. When i was studying Zen, the mountains were not mountains and the rivers not rivers. Now i know Zen, the mountains were mountains again and the rivers rivers."
Cant remember which Zen master wrote this (Hui Neng?) but its beautiful, isnt it?
