Awakening

Awakening: If your path relies on books, you would pass an exam in it. Only a quiet, unquestioning mind has it.

philosophy

Philosophy: When you settle on a label, you loose your suppleness. You stiffen up and wait for the world to consume you.

Spontaneity, no plans, freedom

Was the best thing, at the best time, the most excellent fun time, just the greatest part of the most wonderful great thing that ever happened to you… planned?

death illusion

It is an illusion that death would be a drawn out affair “until the end of time itself”. That illusion is due to the 'life' side of the equation containing the vivid illusion, 'time'; so leading to you perceiving false concepts of death as relative to that 'time-illusion', which at its worst, can seem to drag.

Spontaneity

At the time of a natural thought there is often a good answer or a spontaneous action with no interference. The mind, however, can monitor the nervous system and memories of previous monitoring. This ‘feedback loop’ gets you; thinking, in trouble, analysing; pulling the past and future fallacies into, and thus vastly cluttering, the otherwise pleasantly fun, but not seen that way at the time, eternal-timeless-moment.

eat me

Nothing exists 'of itself' but only in relation to everything other than itself.

You/It die with every death, are born with every birth, consume yourself, and depend entirely on each other for the 'experience of experiencing'.

self experience

Due to 'It' being, in its purest sense, 'One and All' – and what can see or experience that? 'It' reincarnates as both environment-suitable-for and Experiencing-organism-of.

...over and over, just for the pleasure of it.

really who?

The 'one you are' is 'that which is'.

Inseparable, the same.

Them

As soon as we are talking about them and us, peace can only deteriorate.

crowned with simplicity

At the front of my head are thoughts of this and that. I don't much care for these.

In my heart is the world as one and here I reside.

In the centre of my head is the bliss where the fountain of the world is cast upwards from the heart.

So this is where I keep things simple and a foolish King wears a golden crown.

My name?

I see a lady over there. Just a lady passing by.
She comes over and introduces an ego. She says;
“Hi, you saw my body floating by but I am Ego called Name.
What is your Ego Name?” She enquires.
I stand silent.
She says; “My Ego Name does Job, What Job does your Ego Name do?”
I stand silent, but a thought occurs.
“I am not drawn to say a Name, I am the universe, acting, undivided. I do not Do a thing.”

Who?

Hot head

The mind can be seen as the air filling the open sky.

Our mind is the air inside a hot air balloon (open at the bottom - so joined but separate)

The ego then is the flame at the bottom of the hot air balloon that stirs the mind up into the balloon.

Overly inflated, hot headed, big head, full of hot air... all make sense in this analogy.

Breathing for peace

** always take care of breathing exercises, like any exercise, don't over do it **

With your next inhalation take a little more air and a little more time.

With the next exhalation take a little more time and expel a little more.

*Gradual* increase each time, don't rush to extend.

Repeat until you are jerking the final step of the 'in' to get that little more, and twitching a cough to force out that last bit on the 'out'. When you are down to about 4 long "in's" and "out's" a minute, you will be deeply at peace.

A change in temperature on the top of your head probably means you are not exhaling enough, please stop and relax.

Mind is much more than that bundle of thoughts

Going by roughly what we think we know: The earth and inhabitants have changed many times over some thousands of years, people have been born, died, been great, been humble, been slaughtered and given love. The sun seems so active as to change rapidly, like a furnace or jet of fire making huge gulps and burps, specs on its surface enough to swallow planets. In all of that time, if anyone took a moment to look at the moon, it was the same: Peacefully and usefully reflecting light into the night.

The moon like a lake, serving in stillness, the sun enormous and raging. Space itself has held all of this. And beyond that, who can guess? Even if your mind, a tiny part of this greater mind, seems turbid and active, just consider the stillness of the moon and all of space.

When the river is active we don't try to stop it, we can sit by the lake. When the sun is too hot we don't stand and shout at it, we take shelter. When the mind is raging, we don't provide it with new activity or attempt to contain or pacify it, we just draw to the root and let it be.

Don't fight fire with fire, don't fight Yang with Yang.

Yin Yang.
