take off your mask,
there is nothing here but infinite bliss.

"Where Zen and Buddhism will say the truth, enlightenment, and so on can be reached through dedicated meditation and practice, a Tao master may sip some wine, fart, and go to sleep."
Or purchase the paperback book of "The Person of Tao".

Yes, 'take off your mask', beautifully put . . take off the mask of the conditioned personality, the I-Ego, and discover what remains :-)
I love this mask concept but it is so alien to the man on the street.
To say that they are an act, wrapped in layer upon layer of masking.. they assume you mad.
They have an outer shell of garden, masking the shell of house, shell of car, shell of suit, shell of grooming, shell of ego, and more I missed, masking out, and in truth smothering and 'killing' the true self - who needs none of this.
Layer upon layer - peel it off and what remains is beyond measure.
What's that old saying, "an ordinary person adds daily, a person of tao diminishes daily"?
