Awakening: If your path relies on books, you would pass an exam in it. Only a quiet, unquestioning mind has it.

 

Yet to be solied paper

In the bookshop, while glancing down the spines of the books, one really caught my eye.

This was the one that had what I was looking for and I went to pull it out.

Only then did I notice that this was not a book at all, and was in fact the vertical wooden frame of the book shelf.

There was more truth in a piece of bare wood than I could have expected from the greatest master-work that had left its mark on paper.

Spiritual works are a pass time for the spiritually minded. And not something to try to emulate.

Why?

As any doing or trying is no good. It sets you apart. However, reading and reading until your own habitual thoughts move naturally into line with the spiritual guides - then you can walk freely.
