How you look

I carve a disc from stone, later I decide to carve out the middle so I now have a ring shape.

Have I added to it or removed from it? I have added form, added space, added surface, removed stone, removed form.

The hole is made of stone and is made of space. The hole contains no stone and the stone ring contains space.

Look the other way

Many people only ever look out of the back of their head (the so called front), through the eyes and into the projection itself.

Few of us look forward into the (so called) “back” of our head where the light beams out as it is channelled up from the heart.
