Original Face

Drop the desire for enlightenment and then you are "not-I" and you regain your original face.

Anyone seeking enlightenment is of course not enlightened. Nor could anyone ever be enlightened, as on enlightenment, there is no I.

"I seeking enlightenment" is bound.

"Enlightened" is no-I, free.

So drop the idea you could ever achieve, as that achiever is not even possibly real. Drop the idea of an achieving entity so there is no longer a desirer; and then you reach the non-I, and there is enlightenment...

Human being-ing

I am a human being-ing. It is easy to read being without seeing the be-ing, the ing.

And what is that be-ing but the pure magic sought by all who seek.

This being has no time as it always is, from here to there don't make sense when it always is. This is the being at the root of all, at the root of you. Human.

You are not you are

Step outside of your mind. What you are is perfection. What you are not is perfectible.

Who are you again? Be sure to identify with the true self, not the constructed false one. Then you will realize your inherent perfection without a second of effort.

discount to see the best in the world

At many times the language used will appear to say you must discount the world. This is both necessary and unfortunate. It is necessary as language is limited and there is a desire to encourage the seeker to go beyond the mind, it is often necessary to seem to discount the world.

It is unfortunate however as the world is just this, it is a wonder and a delight, your playground; so it is unfortunate that the seeker is asked to discount it at times, but as said, necessary.

All false has root in the true. False comes and goes and changes, so is false, truth is ever the same. So the world, seen as is, is a delight and even though it fits the definition of the false due to its transience, it is rooted in truth. When it is seen from truth, it is magical.

So the efforts to discount it have high value.

enlightenment not gained

You don't attain truth, you unattain false.

Bit by bit, one by one, cast the false aside.

What is left is.

ilnaaphrystaglomnofnuugut

Go and search for an ilnaaphrystaglomnofnuugut.

Go and search for truth.

Both impossible as you don't know what they are.

Truth harder as, wherever you go, it is the one allowing for the looking and so will not be seen.

be here ... yet

yet, they do something now, to achieve in the future.

Thus clouding the now they seek and waiting for something that never arrives.

Seeking the seeker

Get on a train and don't get off until you have arrived where you are.

One I in iiiiiiiiiii's

At root, the self. Manifested as a trillion forms.

All forms are the self. Associating with the unreal.

Awakening is to see both the true I and the i-ego. Then become so sure that i-ego is a construct that it vanishes, leaving you only as the one I.

This could prove a shock.

unimpressed by your efforts

The self is simply uninterested, unburdened and impossible to mark or stain.

Nothing you do can bring it forth or have it retreat.

All you can do is pay more attention to the mind.

And ignore that which you seek!

Stop questioning and the self shines.

Ride

Don't take the road to Nirvana without realizing that the road is Nirvana.

some like to be blind, they like the chase

Guru: "Here is a metaphor for the answer to life"

Seeker "Where can I find this metaphor? I must seek and see it with my own eyes, I must touch this metaphor and know it is real"

Guru (cries softly to herself) "Hmm. Ok, if you must, then walk west until you find yourself"

Seeker [walks west]

Guru [sits]

Seeker [after travelling west for so long returns to the start point]

Guru "So, have you found yourself?"

Seeker "I thought I saw the metaphor many times. I once saw a tree that was shaped in such a way as that I thought of the great metaphor and so I cut it down and made a shrine to its stump and a necklace from its fruits"

Guru "... "

it is

What is it you think you have lost that you need to seek for?

What is this incompleteness that needs completing?

Is not every moment perfect?

As is, no matter what you do, it is.

Here

Now. Awakened. And every moment, every action, every act, every sight of the eye, sound of the ear, sense of the heart, is only the truth.

Then you need no time, no place to be or go, nothing to seek and nothing missing.

The man at prayer, the woman singing praise, are not wrong in your eyes but as filled with truth as the moo of a cow and the wind in the trees, no more or less.

The grass under your feet is a great as the space above your head and both contain each other as the universe contains itself and you are all things.

Breathing, you are dead. Living you decay. As dust you feed life. As new life you return to life.

see?

Like using a telescope to look for your eye.

You wont find truth.

If it did not already exist in you, how could you have looked at all?

Sunday, 18 July 2010

look back

You're looking for something,

That if you did not already have,

You'd be unable to begin in looking,

See ?

One step out of reach

Who are you seeking this bliss for?

If ego is seeking then truth will be kept at bay. If person is seeking for gratification, position, accumulation, then truth will be ever absent.

Search only so that, realized as awakened, you will aid the world.

Teach with silence.

Path of suffering

Seeking happiness, is sadness.

Seeking pleasure, is suffering.

Can we now see what the Buddha said?

Living (for most people) is suffering.

Do you get the massage?

Forever looking for praise, the person would pat everyone they saw on the back and hand out praise.

After some time people would seek him just to get a back rub!

~~

No praise was returned to him.

After giving up seeking for praise, he found it all around him.

Turn your head quick!

Who can use the nose to smell the nose? Listen and hear their ear? See one eye with the same eye?

Who then can find I with I?
