present

No concept of now is truly now.

Present is absent of the idea.

So true. For example, in the martial arts, I tell my students if you are thinking, you are not 'in' the action of now.

Thinking is always one step behind what 'is' happening. It is a delayed reflection. Too slow and you get your butt wamped...but that is one way to get in the now...pain! LOL!
