It is an illusion that death would be a drawn out affair “until the end of time itself”. That illusion is due to the 'life' side of the equation containing the vivid illusion, 'time'; so leading to you perceiving false concepts of death as relative to that 'time-illusion', which at its worst, can seem to drag.

I agree...death itself is an illusion of the senses based on the false notion we have a non-changing 'self' that experiences time...it is a trance state that for many people is difficult to break.
There is no death...just life and life.
