No stains on me

You can do nothing to impress or upset the self.

Nothing to ingratiate yourself, make or lose merit.

Nothing you do effects it.

All you do: you rattle and roll, or you sit and hum,

It is always present and silent and blissful.

You'd do well then to take its example and join it.

Good post. Reminds me of the old zen story that teaches you can't become a buddha by sitting zen nor more than you can make a tile a mirror by rubbing it.
